EFI system partition is too small. Likely this is because it was originally partitioned too small (~100 MB).
- Current minimum is 200 MB per Microsoft’s documentation.
- Staff actually recommend at least 400 MB.
How to fix?
- Microsoft recommends what is essentially a band-aid fix, to delete the fonts folder with a GPT partition (which is what you have if disk management says you have an EFI partition).
- This is in fact not a viable fix.
- This community answer suggests downloading third-party software to increase the partition. This essentially borrows space from the
C:/drive.
