The Windows Subsystem for Linux provides a Linux environment on a Windows computer. To get started, type wsl in the terminal.

Assume commands are prefixed with wsl.
--shutdown: shuts down the WSL kernel on-device. Can be run from any shell (including a different one from where WSL is being run).
