TrackOne is the University of Toronto’s undeclared engineering programme. I spent my first-year as a TrackOne student instead of going directly into computer engineering, where I am now.
I did mostly apply to computer engineering and science programmes, but I switched last minute to TrackOne. The decision did mostly work out for me — and I encourage students interested in ECE to apply instead to TrackOne, because there are essentially no high transfer requirements and all courses are the same (with the exception of a seminar course) and the only difference is really in name. You do get to learn about other engineering disciplines and the ability to choose. Very nice.
