In video games, a Nuzlocke challenge is intended to provide a more difficult game experience. In Pokémon, the most common rules involve:
- Releasing a Pokémon if it faints
- Catching the first Pokémon in the catch area and nothing else
And it’s usually played in conjunction with a randomiser (i.e., the wild Pokémon may not be from the vanilla route).
